The David K. Smoot Agricultural Innovation Memorial Scholarship for KSU Students will honor David K. Smoot's legacy and continual pursuit of new and innovative studies. He was a graduate of Kansas State University in Mechanical Engineering. David left a legacy in the pneumatic conveying industry that will be remembered by many. It is in that spirit that this scholarship be created to support the future of agriculture including problem solving and innovation. This scholarship will support students planning to attend Kansas State University in the University's Global Center for Grain and Food Innovation majors. High school senior applicants must have a 3.0 GPA and current college students attending KSU must have a 2.5 GPA.
